Conditions of use


1. General Provisions

1.1. The following terms and conditions of sale ("Terms and Conditions of Sale") apply to the offer and sale of products through the website (“Website”).

1.2. To be able to purchase products on the Website customers must: (a) be at least 18 years old or, if they are minors, be duly authorized by their legal guardian, (b) be consumers, understood as such natural persons acting for purposes outside their industry, trade, business and profession (c) register on the Website; and (d) have a valid credit card.

1.3. This contract will be formalized in Spanish and will be regulated by Spanish legislation, including Royal Decree 1/2007 of 16 November approving the revised text of the General Law for the Defence of Consumers and Users ("Consumer Law") and Law 34/2002 of 11 July on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce ("LSSI").

3. Products

3.1. Product information is available on the Website and is provided in accordance with articles 60, 63 and 97 of the Consumer Law and articles 27 and 28 of the LSSI.

3.2. We will take all reasonable precautions to ensure that all details, descriptions and product images appearing on the Website are correct at the time the relevant information is entered into the system; however, to the extent permitted by applicable law, we do not warrant that such details, descriptions and product images are accurate, complete, reliable, up to date or error-free.

3.3. The products described on the Website and the samples thereof that we provide to the customer, if any, are for personal use only. Customers may not sell or resell such products or samples. We reserve the right, with or without notice, to cancel or reduce the quantity of products or samples to be delivered to the customer where, in our sole discretion, this constitutes a breach of these Terms and Conditions.


4. Pricing

4.1. All prices indicated for products which are available through the Website include VAT at current rates and are denominated in euros. Shipping costs will be added to the price of the products and are indicated separately on the order form. For further information please also visit section 10 of this text.

4.2. We regularly check the correctness of all prices displayed on the Website, however, to the extent permitted by applicable law, we cannot guarantee the absence of errors. If an obvious error is detected in the price of a product, we will give the customer the opportunity to purchase the product at the correct price or to cancel the order.


5. Placing Orders

5.1. To place an order, the customer must follow a series of simple instructions that appear on the Website.

5.2. To place an order, the customer must click on "Add to cart" to place the selected product in the desired quantity in the shopping cart. The customer will be able to check the products included in the shopping cart at any time during the purchase process by clicking on the shopping cart symbol at the top right on each page. To access a customer's old orders from any computer, the customer must register or log in with their account. You will be able to re-order the same order as the one selected in your account.

5.4. The customer must follow the instructions that appear on the screen to execute the payment process. The customer can always correct any error in the data entered, change the contents of the shopping cart by including or removing one or more products from the cart or cancel the entire order during the process of "checkout" before formalizing the order. By placing an order, the customer acknowledges and declares to have read all instructions given during the checkout process and fully accepts these Terms and Conditions. The customer places an order for products through the Website by clicking on the "Go to checkout" button at the end of the ordering process.

5.5. Once the order has been sent, a "Thank you for placing your order on Ecospirulina" page will appear and soon the customer will receive an e-mail confirming receipt of the order and the corresponding order number. In accordance with article 63 of the Consumer Law and article 28 of the LSSI, the e-mail confirming the order contains information on the essential characteristics of the products purchased, a detailed indication of the price and method of payment, information on shipping costs, the address for sending complaints.

5.6. If the confirmation of an order does not arrive within 24 hours following its formalization, the customer can contact us for assistance on +34 669919575.

6. Shipment of products

After taking care of the product in all its phases of production, in Ecospirulina we want that your experience during the purchase and the delivery of your order is the most satisfactory possible.
To do this, orders leave our facilities the same day or the next day with a 24-hour delivery service in mainland Spain (orders leaving on Fridays are delivered the following Monday). To the Balearic Islands in service 48-72 hours and to the Canary Islands by registered mail in one week.
To most European countries the delivery service is less than one week. The order is sent by registered mail thus allowing its follow-up.  
For international shipments, the delivery time is defined by the national transport agency by registered mail with tracking number.

The rates established for shipments include the costs of preparing orders:
  • Peninsular Spain: 4,50€ and free from 49€.

  • Spain Balearic Islands: 5,50€ and free from 49€.

  • Spain Canary Islands: 5,50€ and free from 60€.

  • Europe: €12

  • International (outside the EU): €29

We advise you to carry out a visual check at the arrival of the package and not to accept it in case of broken or damaged packaging. This will allow us to make a complaint to the courier company. If you are not satisfied with the courier service, please tell us what happened to improve and achieve your full satisfaction. 


7. Offer Codes

7.1. To redeem an offer code, the customer must enter their code in the "click here to enter your code" box during the order confirmation process on the website. Offer codes are case sensitive and must always be entered as they appear.

7.2. When an offer code is accepted, the offer will be shown under "Finish purchase".

7.3. Only one offer code can be used per order.


8. Payment Options

8.1. The customer can pay for the products by credit card. The following credit cards are accepted for this purpose:
– Visa
– MasterCard

8.2. We do not accept credit cards with billing addresses outside of Spain.

8.3. For customer security, the customer's name and billing address must match the name and billing address of the credit card used to make the payment. We reserve the right to cancel any order that does not meet these criteria.

8.4. All credit card holders are subject to validation checks and authorization by the card issuer. If the customer's payment card issuer refuses, or for any reason does not authorise, payment in our favour, whether prior to or subsequent to a payment, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.


9. Order Inquiries

9.1. Generally, products are shipped on the next business day after receipt of an order. For information on a shipment, the customer should contact us at number 669919575 or by email at the following address:

9.3. The customer's account page will inform the customer about current and previous orders.

9.4. Occasionally, our system cancels orders or parts of an order for various reasons. Some of these reasons are:
· Items not available
· Inability to process payment information
· Inability to deliver to the address provided
· Placing a duplicate order
· Cancellation at the request of a customer

9.5. . If an order is cancelled, the customer will receive an email explaining the reasons for the cancellation. Cancelled orders will not be charged to the customer. 10. Delivery

10.1. Orders are processed and delivered exclusively on business days (Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays). Orders placed on Saturday and Sunday will be processed the next business day.

10.2. We cannot process orders with a delivery address in a P.O. Box.

10.3. Shipping costs are borne by the customer and are detailed in the order form. Shipping costs will not be charged for purchases exceeding the amount shown on the Website. We also offer the option of Free Shipping out on Tuesdays (for all orders received during the previous week until Tuesday at 11 am) in service delivery within 48/72h by Post. In this case, the responsibility of the delivery happens to be of Correos de España, since this free service for the client does not include certificate and makes impossible the pursuit of the package. Ecospirulina can not be claimed in case of non-delivery of the order. This mention is informed to the client during the process of purchase, next to the option to choose the form of shipment.

10.4. In accordance with Article 103 of the Consumer Act, the products will be delivered within 30 (thirty) days following the completion of the order by the customer, unless within the same period we notify the customer, including by email, in the same period, that the products ordered are not available, even if they are temporarily unavailable.


11. Right of Withdrawal

11.1. We are committed to providing customers with the best quality spirulina available. If the customer considers that the products he has received do not meet this expectation, under Article 71 of the Consumer Act shall be entitled to withdraw from the contract, without cause, within 7 (seven) working days after the date of receipt of the products.

11.2.The customer may notify us of his intention to exercise the right of withdrawal by sending an email to with the details of the relevant order, including the customer's order number and the description of the goods to be returned. If the products listed in the delivery note do not match those delivered, the customer must notify us immediately by calling 669919575.

11.3. Our Customer Service department will then issue the customer with an authorisation number and an e-mail confirmation. The customer is invited to keep their authorization number for future consultation with Customer Service in this regard.

11.4. In the event that the customer returns products for reasons other than defects or incomplete or incorrect delivery, the customer must arrange and pay for the return of the products.

11.5. . If the right of withdrawal is exercised, we undertake to reimburse the customer the full price of the products within thirty (30) days after the date of receipt of the withdrawal, provided that they are returned unused and undamaged, having been maintained and handled with due care and attention, within 7 working days after delivery. Refunds will only be made against the credit card originally used. Once the refund has been made, we will notify the customer by email.

11.6. . It is strongly recommended to send the package by certified delivery service (which requires the signature at the time of delivery). We cannot be held responsible for returned products that are lost during transit.


12. Absence of Conformity

12.1. In the event of non-conformity of the products with the contract in accordance with the provisions of Article 116 of the Consumer Law, the guarantees established in Articles 118 to 122 of the same law shall apply. The customer has the right to have the products repaired or replaced, free of charge, so that they conform to the contract, failing which the customer has the right to an appropriate reduction in the price of the products or to cancel the contract. The customer waives the rights described above if he does not notify us of the lack of conformity within two months of the date on which he detects the lack of conformity. We shall be liable for the lack of conformity if it becomes apparent within two years of delivery of the products. In any event, actions initiated in connection with a lack of conformity which we have not maliciously concealed shall automatically expire thirty-six months after delivery of the products.


13. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

13.1. These Terms and Conditions are governed by Spanish law and must be interpreted in accordance with Spanish law.

13.2. Any disputes arising from the interpretation, validity and/or execution of these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts and tribunals of the customer's place of residence or domicile.
